I just got my new 10W laser a couple of weeks ago, so I'm still learning, but I have to say, I'm already way ahead of where I was with the 1.6w. Getting that thing calibrated and focused was very frustrating, but this thing figures all that out for you. Thank you Snapsters!

I’m a mom of 3 I needed to create and extra income I’m just starting out and this machine has been my favorite.🤩 I looove the laser, I have the 10w and I have done some beautiful thing with this. I have also use the cnc and love it as well but I’m more for the laser . I think anyone wanting to have fun with a 3 in 1 this machine is your best friend. You can do so much and not be limited on what you can make. I’m thankful for this. If I had the money I would get another lol I’m trying to save up for the Rotary tool. But I always telling people to check out snap maker. I never have much issues and if I do I contact the company. I think they are fairly easy to communicate with and I think a decent fast response as well. This machine is a way for me to just have a me time to create. Also love being able to make my own gifts on such a professional level I owe snap-maker a thank you on this. I will say I wish the laser would etch much further then the bed allows that’s the only complaint I have. Other wise RUN AND GET YOU ONE!!! And get your self that 10w laser and another must is the Rotary tool! PS everything is a learning experience practice makes perfect. Learn it and fine what works for you.

The difference between the original laser and the new 10w laser is amazing. I struggled to get anything to cut with the old laser, multiple passes would not even cut through 3mm basswood. I am now cutting through 5mm with a single pass. And the speed has allowed me to complete multiple projects in just a few hours.

The new 10W Laser is an excellent upgrade, faster cutting, auto focus and material height recognition. A cut that could take 30 mins on the 1.8W will take 7 mins now with the 10W

The demo project that's included was completed in record time. The etching seemed a bit too powerful but still looks good. The laser-cut through the wood like a hot knife through butter.
Unfortunately, that's as far as I've gone. I can't experiment too much to find the perfect settings for different types of materials with the rising costs of materials. I've reached out to Snapmaker to update their laser settings page to include the 10W laser. Although they've agreed that it is needed, it still hasn't been done.

The 10W is not only more powerful it is much easier to use. The camera is better, and the focus routine is more simplistic and doesn't require you to engrave any wood, just a piece of 8.5x11 or A4 paper. I am getting great results. Look up the Boraxo trick on Youtube and you will be amazed at the quality it brings.

This really makes a difference over the original. Much faster work and deeper cuts. Engraving aluminum is simply amazing. I wish it was CO2 laser. I have not tried anything other than wood and aluminum though. Made some great projects and it is a lot of fun to use!

I'm using the laser to cut model plane parts out of balsa wood. It slices through 1/16 and 1/8 inch balsa at even 25% or 33% power. The auto focusing mode is very nice and has worked perfectly. Same for the auto boundary feature -- very useful. The parts cut cleanly and without scorching.

I will start off by saying the enclosure is great. The instructions to assemble it were well written and clear.
It would be nice, however, if a few adjustments could be made (extra holes drilled, etc.) so that we can configure it a bit differently as needed. For example, the doors default to being on the front and right sides of the enclosure. For me, the place where the SM2 and its enclosure are kept has the right side against a wall which would make that door pretty useless.
I figured out which parts to swap around so that I could set it up this way BUT I cannot use all of the parts (e.g. the metal foot fixtures) because the indentation only appears when configured as instructed. In addition, there are a few screw holes that are not present on the top and right braces to attach the top and right sides in my new configuration. As a result, those sides are not as securely affixed as they would be if I didn't change the configuration myself.
As of the photo I attached, I have since flipped that first front door panel so that the touchscreen can be installed at the bottom which makes more sense and doesn't require that it be upside down. :-)
If Snapmaker can address this in future revisions, that would be great and would make this already great product even better.
A little over a year ago I purchased a Snapmaker Original model and oh boy is that a WELL DESIGNED and WELL BUILT little machine. What I was able to create with it was only limited to the number of hours in the day. So when I was alerted to a Christmas 2021 morning flash sale I knew I had to get another only this time a larger one with version 2 modules. As good as the original is the improvements made are well thought out, laser auto focus and auto load/unload of printer filament are very welcome, not to mention the beefed up CNC module. Also everything needed to use the machine is included, even down to small touches like using black rubber bands on the black cables. Both machines as so well built I know I’ll be using them for many years to come.

Came as advertised, with no experience working with the software there has been a small learning curve but making cool stuff right out of the box.

This is very good quality PLA, and it's a great price. I recommend it for the simplicity of printing, and its out-of-the-box compatibility with Luban.

As our first 3D printer, the A350T has been great. The kids have enjoyed it, and it's proven useful around the house time and again. Haven't tried the CNC yet, but the noise from the 3D printing is quite tolerable unless you're sitting next to it for hours. In other words, there isn't much. The quality of the prints has been perfect for our needs around the house. The laser engraving onto wood makes enough smoke, that an exhaust fan is required, but that's to be expected. The quality of the hardware seems exceptional so far, very solid, and easy on the eye. I would strongly recommend this to anyone just getting into this kind of thing.

For a base system, this is not needed. If you have an Enclosure, Emergency Stop button, and the Air Filter, you will need this to connect all 3 of these items at the same time. It works well. Make sure you plug in the port correctly…
I mistakenly connected the laser module backwards and it caused a short circuit and started smoking and smelling like the smell of a circuit board burning. I ended up having to replace the laser module and the main port hub located on the back side of the unit on the Z linear module. The service to get these corrected was great – although shipping took longer than Snapmaker fixing it!
